Get 24mpg around town, but it can get down to 18mpg if the sons have borrowed "Dads car "

Can also get 35mpg if I drive at 55mph, by why would I want to ?

my 2010 TD4e used to do 35-40 on the motorway

then it went in to have a pump thingy fitted to the haldex, now it only gets 30-34
on the same runs as before.  

Average 25 - 27mpg around town and back and forth to work. just over 30mpg on a motorway run.

Can't rememeber the last time I saw less than 30 on ours, nearer 40 on a steady motorway run.

As a comparison, my Golf GTI does 35 on the motorway, and about 19 in town! Although it's still loosening up...! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Driving around Loch Lomond we got upto 43.5mpg, but overall, including the run back down the motorway (suitcases, double buggy, etc) we averaged 41mpg.

Own an 58 Freelander TD4s with 60k on the clock. Averaged 35mpg over the last 1000 miles, mixed driving.

FL2 HSE TD4 Auto 19" 6500 miles.

100% city with heavy traffic - 26 MPG (11,5 l /100 km)

Outside : 35 MPG (8 l/100 km)

I'm very far from lies announced by LR in their brochures and so on ...

My 10 plate GS does 36.5 normaly .. did 47.3 on a run from Surrey to Liverpool and back

this was done by driving to the lakes and back, and doing a fair few miles along country lanes whilst up there
