Maybe a silly question but have you checked everything is secured in the spare wheel housing? I get a knock if I have anything in the boot not tied down. Could be your jack or something else is a bit loose. |

Thanks for the replies. I'm pretty sure the spare wheel and other bits are secure but can't say the same for anything under the car. I'll take a closer look at the handbrake shoes at the weekend. The handbrake mechanism on the drivers rear was siezed a while back and I did strip it down. I'll need to double check it. |
