Just to add, I had to wait a good thirty secs before it worked. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice. |

Disconnected the alarm sensor, re fitted, tested and lo and behold it works now |

Forgot to say when I removed the sensors I found a dried up leaf in the sensor housing.

For those that have fixed the volumetric alarm do you now get the longer indicator flash when double locking or still short/short. I can't see why that would change, but just curious.

To me, the question is to know if there's a way to upgrade to volumetric alarm ... is it just a matter of installig this sensor box on the roof or it must be a complicated wiring . |

I've had quick look through the owners handbook, and I can't see anything covering that it gives a longer flash of the indicators. Full alarm: The hazard warning lights will flash twice. Partial alarm: lights flash once. But my owners handbook is from 2007 so it may have changed. |
