Detatch it. It's a 2 way green connector with a latch on top that need to be depressed to remove it. There was nothing wrong with the connection on my car.

Note that you must have a window down then double lock lock the car with the fob..
Give a few seconds so the LED in the instrument packs stops flashing fast, then wave your arm inside the cabin. Did this standing outside the car, also works sitting insdie the car.
This should activate the alarm sounder (does on mine now) Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Just to add, I had to wait a good thirty secs before it worked. Another member of the failed FL2 clutch/DMF club, twice.

Forgot to say when I removed the sensors I found a dried up leaf in the sensor housing.
The only way it's going to get in there is when the sun roof is open,so the sensor housing may be open to the elements.

For those that have fixed the volumetric alarm do you now get the longer indicator flash when double locking or still short/short. I can't see why that would change, but just curious.

I still need to test mine, but I only get the short/short flash like many others it seems.

Thanks

To me, the question is to know if there's a way to upgrade to volumetric alarm Embarassed ... is it just a matter of installig this sensor box on the roof or it must be a complicated wiring .

I've had quick look through the owners handbook, and I can't see anything covering that it gives a longer flash of the indicators. Full alarm: The hazard warning lights will flash twice. Partial alarm: lights flash once. But my owners handbook is from 2007 so it may have changed.
