Tyre pressures haven't changed since Freelander 2 was introduced. |

There were all sorts of problems with tyre wear on the FR1, and the pressure changes were designed to solve them. I don't think there have been any changes on the FR2. |

Glad they've sorted it Ours ate the fronts (centres) in little time, so the drop was welcome as we got a good 24k out of Wranglers |

That's certainly indicative of too much pressure. Mine was weirder - I got uneven wear (flat spots) on the rear tyres - very noisy! My tyre man had never seen anything like it. They lowered the recommended pressures and after that my new tyres were fine. I can only assume it was something to do with unevenness between front and back messing up the 4wd system. |
