Re - Rubber wheel arch trim falling off thred locked

I've only been a member for just over a week, and found members answers to my first question very helpful. But now due to petty a slanging match between a mod and a member the toys came out of the pram, and the guy who had the powers to lock the thread did so Evil or Very Mad End of !!! So what happens now ?? Do i start off my topic Mk 2 ?
For twenty years i owned TVR's And when pistonheads came along it was in my view the best thing since sliced bread. As many of you will know that TVR's might be one of the best looking British sports cars (IMHO).But had a bad habit of falling apart due to poor build quality. But the TVR forum turned into an arguing forum, rather than offering helpfull advice,so i stopped posting. Now i have a lovely freebie to maintain i joined this forum. But whithin one week i've found the same thing happens here. It would have been nice if the mod in question had emailed me to inform me that 'My' thread had been locked.

Yes, start your topic again. Actually, I think you just did Smile And for the record the wheelarch trims on my 09 seem fine. (Now watch them fall off 'cos I said that!)

Had to replace all the trims on my old FL2, and sealed ends with mastic. It's a very easy job smudger, just remember to give the arches a good clean before replacing them. Thumbs Up
