Car has only done 7000 miles but I have noticed the outside edges of the front tyres are wearing down rather quickly. Going by previous threads this could mean that the camber requires adjusting.

Just moved my fronts to backs due to the problem with the weak shoulders on the Continentals. |

Question - do you drive over many speed humps?

It's a 4WD with the capability to cross pretty rough terrain, I think LR will have built a little more ruggedness into the car than it be ruined by a speed hump.

I never had any problems with my previous two Freelanders but they had Goodyear Wranglers. It seems to be the continentals, so is it worthwhile spending money on getting the alignment checked? Get a full 4-wheel alignment done at a tyre specialist rather than LR dealer. Specialists have computerised "Protrac" or "Supertrack" rigs & they should know how to use them. Normally only costs you for the wheels that need adjustment. 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

I have found a local garage that has a Hunter Hawkeye 811 Pro Wheel Aligner Rig.

Hunter rig is good. It all depends on the skills of the operator of course! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)
