Don't know why but- I've seen that message once, car off radio on. Probably not the right course of action but I did not charge the battary and all was well. |

Just a thought, if it is the original battery at 4-5 years old then I would take it as a warning and replace it, it may well be the beginning of a failure.

It is normal, dont worry about it, if you have the LR Sat Nav you have to have the engine running when doing the updates ideally as you get this message, most vehicles now have a system where you can listen to the radio with our the key being in the ignition, the radio will work for 15 to 20 minutes then turn off.
