i can vouch for night breakers did mine b4 christmas made a noticable differance ps the eye test was only a joke rainy-city

In practice, although much brighter, I find that HID lamps to be less of a problem than halogens, especially badly adjusted ones. There is a growing trend with people fitting HID lamps as a direct replacement for Halogens, those are a nightmare. |

the self levelling xenons , normally self level when you switch them on/start the car, and i assume they would do a check every so often, they don't continuously go up and down, like a tanks turret when its locked on target

Using halford bulbs this way , a great improvement I can see in the dark now, its either the bulbs or I'm eating more carrots |

I have many "eye floaters" glare can be a problem, I personally find bad halogens worse than factory HID's.
