Evoques getting a bit common already?

We walk our dogs on a path close to the M180 motorway and the number of Ewok's we see is growing by the day.
There seems to be loads of them about and all white up to now.

There certainly isn't a supply problem here.

Position in Switzerland

CH is a very small new car market compared to most European countries but Land Rover in the 3mths Sept to end November 2011 are by this market's overall performance storming ahead. Compared to the corresponding period 2010 total LR sales have increased by 57% with no expansion in the dealer network. Defender +43%, Discovery +168%, RRS +99%, and FFRR + 73%. There has not yet been an official announcement on the sales performance of the FL2 - maybe they have dived Rolling Eyes

LR sold in Q4 2011 (Oct., Nov., Dec.,) 1,700 cars of which 600+ were for the the Evoke - their sales not registered before October. The RRE was also awarded the Swiss SUV "Car of the Year 2011" with the RRS in third place. In second place was the BMW X3 however the voting margin between 1st and 2nd place was in 2011 an all time record margin with over 14% more journalists voting for the RRE than the Beemer.

Indeed Martyn. I didnt realise that people could 'order' a car without the finance in place. I was reading on a forum the other day, people panicking as they were still looking for finance and the car was due Rolling Eyes It makes you wonder if that's why there are 'cancelled' orders. Dreamers thinking that they can afford one without any funds
I'd rather run something that's paid for rather than be up to my neck in finance. I can't see how they can enjoy a car when they are in debt for it. I have too many bad memories of finance payments when i first started working. Never again Laughing 59 TD4e XS in galway green

I share the sentiments expressed by Annie & Dunroof.

In the 80's I had to attend a series of conferences in the US. Between two venues (SF & LA) instead of flying I drove down the west coast (magnificent drive) and was amazed to see on "Auto Dealer's Lots" huge banners advertising "A DOLLAR DOWN" deposits on new cars, followed by the words: NO CREDIT CHECKS. I am minded now to think that perhaps it wasn't the recent financial crisis that lead to the collapse in the world's economies, but the "Buy Now With Peanuts & Pay Later Nothing" Reganomics consumer model cultivated in the land of dreams and avarice.

It is typical of the worshipers of quantitative easing (Finance Ministers' slang for printing more money than you actually have) to attach the indefinite "balloon" to the definite substantial repayable legal liability. Accepting that subjective, you are as vulnerable as a child's balloon - one small prick and bang goes your whole world leaving you with a problem worse than prickly heat.

The only sensible line of credit is to borrow only what you have in the bank (or other securities) at a rate of interest that is lower than the return you are currently enjoying on your present assets. That way you have protected collateral to fall back upon to meet your obligations should your personal (or families) circumstances suddenly and unexpectedly change.
