CH is a very small new car market compared to most European countries but Land Rover in the 3mths Sept to end November 2011 are by this market's overall performance storming ahead. Compared to the corresponding period 2010 total LR sales have increased by 57% with no expansion in the dealer network. Defender +43%, Discovery +168%, RRS +99%, and FFRR + 73%. There has not yet been an official announcement on the sales performance of the FL2 - maybe they have dived

Indeed Martyn. I didnt realise that people could 'order' a car without the finance in place. I was reading on a forum the other day, people panicking as they were still looking for finance and the car was due It makes you wonder if that's why there are 'cancelled' orders. Dreamers thinking that they can afford one without any funds I'd rather run something that's paid for rather than be up to my neck in finance. I can't see how they can enjoy a car when they are in debt for it. I have too many bad memories of finance payments when i first started working. Never again 59 TD4e XS in galway green |
