No idea about a mat sorry, I used to use a Brodit Proclip with holders for the phone and TomTom and swapped them over as nesassery, not as cheap as a mat but a good solution never the less. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

Use 3M double sided sticky tape, its paper thin and can be removed when necessary with adhesive remover. |

Whatever you use on the car dash make sure its going to come off cleanly if you want to sell the car, the garage will knock quite a bit of the price for what they will say is a damaged dashboard, been there done that!! |

Thank you for the replies ....I'm not keen on brackets or clips but the double sided tape idea sounds very good.

I found a really cheap suction pad in Maplin - designed for the iphone but I just used the base and attached my sat nav to it . It sticks really well and I think the dash would break before the suction cup did! Cheers,

i have a mat on the dash which stays put! I found that when it gets dust on its surface it will slide off.

Have you tried cleaning the dash with an adhesive remover / solvent. It sounds as though yours may have be polished with some sort of silicone if nothing will stick. |
