Make sure you don't cover the passenger airbag with any mat or other device! Rather than use superglue, I'd consider stick-on velcro. You might have a better chance of cleaning it off come sales time. The dash on mine has faded a bit, so any item you glue on would likely leave a mark after a year or two anyway. |

I have superglued the sat nav disc to the underside of the cubbyhole (where sat nav would go on higher spec models). This allows me to use the sat nav, when not in use the sat nav is taken off but the cubby hole can be used at all times. The disc that is glued on cannot been seen and should not effect the value when sold ( my first Freelander was sold with this in place and the dealer did not notice it ).

Do a search - several people have fitted satnavs to the cubby hole, some looking very professional indeed. I just keep a cheap Garmin Nüvi in there, with the lead threaded through one of the holes in the base of the cubby hole and a hinged bracket I bought off Amazon to hold it in place. There's a photo in my gallery. But others have done much more exciting things.

Stick the disc inside the " cubby hole" facing downwards so your satnav hangs in roughly the same position as the factory fit one would be ( I've done this) or any other position in there to suit you , but first before you do clean the area with something to remove all the polish that will stop the sticking. even superglue will not stick to silicon. 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership 2016 Subaru Outback SE 2.0 diesel SE Premium Lineartronic Sold 2024 after 8 years and 80k miles .
