No you didn't make a mistake, you can get a really good saving against buying new. Gone, 2007 TD4 SE Auto Baltic blue, clear side repeaters, full sized alloy spare.

Every one of us who has bought a second hand car has taken a similar "risk". You however have a nearly new car with a full LR warranty. It may have been a demo, but I doubt it would have been punished too much - unless, that is, it was driven up & down Trudos using the back roads every week! Enjoy it! Regarding being made to be "tortured" - the car was designed from the available parts bin (at the time) from Ford, Volvo and PSA. It is rugged, but not overly. It does seem to be the most reliable of the LR marque however.

ive never bought a used car, Im not very trusting of others I guess, and I look at it like this, it wasnt good enough for the previous user anymore, they are getting rid, so why should I have their rubbish?

On the other hand, there is the argument that if there were problems with the car, the first owner will have got them sorted out for you beforehand and save you the trouble. |
