Hi everyone I took the plunge and bought a Freelander 2. Just returned from a 1000 mile trip to Scotland and loved every minute of the drive (apart from the roadworks).

I find the site really interesting and look forward to posting on it and getting advice.

Hello all! My intro on this forum is long overdue so thought id better do one especially now that im using it on a regular basis. Just getting into buying fl2 accessories and gadgets so this forum proves very useful with everyones info. Bought my gs new last year and have never looked back!

didn't wait

I posted earlier that I was looking to return to land rover in the summer.....couldnt wait, get my new XS next week!

So there will be more questions about oil, tyres, accessories etc

France 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Stornoway Grey

hello everyone,
I've been running a freelander 2 S from may 2011 as my works vehicle driving around the back roads and farm tracks of N Devon. Changed after 2 X trails, Also have a defender 90 and have rebuilt a 1968 series 2a which my student son drives.
I've signed up for a pyrenees 4x4 tour in April with my son taking the FL2 but slightly worried as I have had 2 "reduced engine perfomance" messages recently when starting from cold!

2008 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Santorini Black

Hello All at Freel2!

I've just become the proud owner of an 08 model HSE spec, and currently very pleased with the car. I had been planning on getting a Skoda Yeti, but was let down by an internet broker, so started looking elsewhere, and must say the freelander is in a different league!

I'm looking forward to the first snow, so I can put her through her paces...

Hi folks, I've recently taken delivery of a 2012 HSE manual and am well pleased. It seems totally different to the three early series Freelanders I had some years ago. Very plush, like a small Range Rover, I'd say. Taking it gently, being new, it touched 40 mpg on a couple of decent length runs. I am delighted to say it has a spare wheel too!! Being an old guy I don't want to mess with compressors or goo!

New car TD4 GS

Hi
had the new Freelander for 1 week now td4e GS 2012. Have been running Discovery's for a few years 1 TD5 and 2 D3's but had a freelandr before that in 2000. This one is far removed from that one and i was pleasantly suprised at how comfortable it was to drive straight away. I have done a massive 134miles in it up to now.
