liking the jcb phone, nokia did a similar one but I broke that in 3days the screen in the outer shell was too flexible so when I squashed it against something at work the screen pressed against the lcd panel and caused a huge permanent blue spot.
Can somebody get a jcb phone and see if it will pair with the fl2? thanks in advance Laughing

If you can get a normal sized phone and a bluetooth head set, program some voice dialing names in and you be safe with your phone in one of these.

as long as your not needing to text and your phones not bigger than an ipod

PS I think i might have had too much port Whistle Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Heier Elegance does not work with PTI

Just an update to the list off phones that Do Not Work

Don't bother trying the Heier Elegance (also know are the ICECREAM)

The phone does not transfer the calls to PTI, phone book or receive call either, but does says its connected

It doesn't connect to other kits either that my wife has in her car

Shame as its the worlds smallest phone, but i still need to keep looking for my new one Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

is too small for me i bought for the wife, but she might just use it as her going out phone,

she a typical woman with a handbag that small it just fits lipstick, eye liner, lip gloss, and a space for the phone.

Now its even smaller than her last one she might take some money out!!!! Laughing Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

At the Stealer when I first collected my car the Salesman demonstrated the conectivity with this phone, it seemed to work well with the limited time he was showing me. Thumbs Up

Bluetooth & 2 Phones

Hi there. Just registered on this site having picked up me nearly new Freelandy 2 on New Years Eve. Like most of you, I’m having problems with the Bluetooth Kit, I got my Nokia 6300 to connect and work fine, but I can’t get another phone connected, the literature states you can have up to 5 phones paired, but when searching, although it does find others phones but when selecting connect it just says ‘Connection failed would you like to try again” Has anybody else experienced this?? Also, the voice dial doesn’t work very well??

Happy motoring

Hi,

I have an O2 XDA and managed, after a lot of effort, to get the Bluetooth link to work. Secret was to make sure that a port was open on the Xda.

I have the same problem occassionally, i have a SE k800i (with SE software update) and the car occasionally says unable to connect check bluetooth is on.

never had any luck with voice dial on any car (even my old SE car kit in my old car which you could speak numbers to input and it would get them wrong)

I either, switch car off and on again (whilst stationary Thumbs Up ) or switch the phones bluetooth on and off (whilst parked up, Mr Police Officer Wink ) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Still Bluetooth Issue

Hi again, spoke to the dealer where I bought me Landy, they couldn't offer any advice over the phone, so will have to take it in, bit of a pain though. I have managed to pair three different phones and they all work OK on their own, so I know there is no issue with phone compatibility, but I can only seem to pair one phone at a time, when selecting 'Add another phone', after the search the BTI finds the 2nd or 3rd phone OK but when clicking enter on the selected phone the BTI states 'Adding the phone failed would you like to try again' I have tried it a number of times with the different phones and it just states the same thing!?! Anyone else any other ideas??

By the way, the phones are all Nokia's - 6300, 6021 and a 6230 07 XS FL2, 2nd Freelandy, Zermatt Silver
