I am not wrong. You are. The manual is far superior and would spill less than the SD4. I don't care why they don't offer manual on the Disco. Manual wins hands down. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

As opposed to your cold hard facts about the auto being best. Trust me I laugh at every auto argument just as much Perhaps a moderator should lock this thread or follow what CG said and delete it LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby LOT (Lord of Time) - University of Gallifrey |

Stealer put it well, people don't pay that much for a car and expect to change gear. No manuals on Disco, RR. Saying that, first auto have owned and do thinks its great. Also Landrover seem to be one of few manufactures were the auto box does not decrease the amount you can tow over the manual. I'll even guess at the freelander 3 not coming in manual! Its just a case of each to there own, more for comfort now then speed! |

Perhaps it might be prudent to refer back to the original post which asked not about personal preference but about reliability differences between auto and manual versions. Perhaps the poll could be edited to reflect the OP too |

Then the OP should be more specific in what way "the best" means....

Can I point out the poll was added by me, on Alex's request, could not see the point in opening another thread on the same subject |
