Evening guy's, quite new to all things FL2, have owned my '57' TD4 auto since Jan and only seem to get 26 to 27 combined, thought this might be a bit low, any thoughts from your extensive knowledge ? Journey to work is 2/3 motorway. 2007 ( 57 ) TD4 SE Auto, Samatra Black, Leather interior, Xenon Headlights, No Privacy Glass yet though. |

I may check the MPG when I frist get a new car, then that's it. I just keep it on the range setting, other wise it would drive me potty. Last time I checked it 32-35 MPG around town going to work 38-42 MPG that's on a 57 manual. |

Recently had a couple of runs from Hampshire up to Lancashire in my 07 SE manual. Quite surprised to see average consumption as 42.5 mpg over 255 miles on one trip and 39+ on second, with cruising at close to 70 mph (average speed showed as 60mph over the whole trip - mostly A34/motorway). Normally average between 35 and 37 when knocking around but only about 23-25 with 1550kg trailer! Total mileage now 54k. Have definitely noticed a small increase in mpg since changing to V-Power diesel (at least enough to make me feel it is worth paying the extra). I guess the driving style is quite significant as the 'Clog & Anchor' brigade are never going to stand a chance with fuel frugality whereas those who read the traffic ahead are more likely to reap the benefits. |

Just went on a 60 mile round trip this morning, started with a full tank and cleared the computer which showed 24 mpg as the "other half's" typical milage over the last tank, basically doing short shopping runs. With 60 miles of A road ( Halifax to Coniston Cold and back) using "Sport Mode" and dispatching the Keighly by pass at 85 mph and kicking down past everything on the A65 to amuse my 18 year old I was very pleased to see 34 mpg, not shabby for 2tonnes gross weight with the aero-dynamics of a shed and an autobox 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership
