Currently on 33mpg overall. (I do tow a tintent on occasion which brings down the average) Being sad I use the web to monitor it as I did my previous car . See sig below 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

39.1 overall at the moment, manual 2007 GS. Mostly tootling around quiet A roads, not many motorways round here. I do have to overtake a lot in the summer though, blooming caravans |

Day to day, around the doors 34-36mpg. Newcastle-Birmingham-Newcastle at legal limit gave exactly 40mpg. Not at all bad for its size and streets ahead of my last two cars, XJ8 4.0 and 4.2 and just a little better in the snow. |

The reason I was watching this thread was because, when looking to buy my freelander, I wanted to know what mpg might I get?

Surely the whole point of a forum is that interested parties can post/discuss topics that are for the most point maybe boring for others?

agreed, helps people judge real life MPG, as we all know the LR published ones are fictional |

29K/13 months old. I've averaged 42MPG overall. Very pleased with the economy. 100 mile commute daily with mostly motorway but 30 miles of rural roads. MPG plummets below 5c though |
