I would tend to think the technician does not know what he is talking about..... several 57 models here with the am module fault, why not yours? Good luck, JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

I didn't get the part number but was told they are around $800 (~£530) but was told that they can be repaired by a local shop in Perth which would cost ~$100 (£65) to repair. |

I had this issue a few months back and the resolution was to replace the stereo. Under warranty. AM works now. Cuatro Por Cuatro |

excuse my igronace but can you tell what this is from? is it a LR dealer checklist of some kind that they should be going through if this problem presents? I only ask as i have the same issue and if i go to the dealer with it and they fob me off i'd like to show them this, but only if i understand what it is myself. |

A SSM (Special Service Message) is a note issued to dealers from LR, stating that it knows of a problem and has an interim solution. It may, or may not, be progressed later to a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin). |
