My local main dealer claims there have been no software updates for phones so I believe you just have to try a phone and see what happens. However, whatever was done at last year's service (different dealer) gave me a lot more choice of phone compatibility. Just to see if there are different lists, I entered my 07 SE VIN and also that of an MY11 and found they both produced the same list of phones. I guess it just gets updated as more phones are tested by LR. One of my newer phones will not transfer the phone book but if you send a 'business card' by bluetooth to the LR2, it keeps it in the car memory. There appears to be a way round most things! |

Successfully linked the phone and car today - so a happy bunny. Am wondering if they will remember each other next time i start the engine though. As they didnt today & I had to redo the link up. All contacts transferred too. What do I know....I'm only an Essex girl |

Only problem I've had with the my11 models and the BB Torch is a lot of people comment that they cannot here you to well, they say you sound a long way from the microphone, did mention this to the dealer at service time, their answer was turn the volume down on the handset haven't tried it yet so I cannot comment on that but not convinced that it is the answer.
