EY I've just read through that whole thread and that Dunroof is a better man than I re retro install. Phew, I think I'll just leave them unconnected.

I think they're a bit smarter than needing to be switched on and off. Certainly seem to be activated when the rear ones are (maybe when reverse selected?).

Her Ladyship's FL2 has rear PDC fitted and is logically activated when you select reverse.

Fronts are activated when you put it in reverse, but you can turn them on yourself if you need them.

The dash switch seems to be much misunderstood - certainly by the salesman who sold me the car. On my 2007 GS the front AND back sensors come on EITHER when you engage reverse gear OR when you flick the switch. They go off either when you exceed a certain speed (about 10mph) or when you flick the switch. Simple. |

I think the LR way has advantages - not least of which is that they don't beep in traffic jams, if you get a bit close to the car in front. |
