why do I need that. RRS has same recharge system as fl2, only it has a real key instead of the annoying dock and button...... the one thing that I have disliked since buying the car, well documented on here not just an ex owner with sour grapes.

keyless ignition on Discovery 4, RRSport and Evoque. Simply have to have the key within 1 metre of the vehicle for you to be able to start the engine. No docking of key fob needed or possible. |

Freelander 2 keyfobs will also work if inserted upside down - only problem is that they'll only recharge if inserted the correct way up. |

Keyless ignition can be expensive.... friends partner in a rush picking daughter up from nursery placed key on roof of Meganne when loading her into car seat, and drove off, key never seen again......... JT Upgraded to an ex demo, 7 mth old, Rimini Red/Ebony Napoli Auto HSE on 28th Jan 2011, added roof rails, mudflaps and side strips.

One of my key fobs failed, I suspected the battery might be at fault. I managed to get inside but broke it in the process as it appears to be a sealed type unit.
