Cliff,

Yes, I have tried, but The EUCD Platform (Shared Mondeo/FL2 & a coupel of Volvo's, cant remember which) is not LED-friendly.

See my post: http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic1110.html

I had Sidelights/tail/Brake bulbs all replaced with LEDs in my FL1...but if you try in a FL2, they flas at about 5Hz. This is not visable on a bulb, but VERY visable on LEDs...(I have a small movie clip somewhere)....

The Mondeo has an LED-mode(It is/soon will be available with LED rear lights), which stops this flashing, but this is not supported by LR (Although the parameters are still listed).

So, In short.....watch this space... '57 FL2 GS

The Front and Rear indicators are the same as each-other...the side repeaters use a smaller wedge-bulb.. '57 FL2 GS

How do you get the boot light out to replace the bulb with the LEDs?
The present bulb is quite dim and I prefer having the bright LEDs.
Cheers

Once you have the main light unit out....you then need to "split" it into the two halfs....just squeeze gently with your finger-tips on the two arms and the two clear plastic bits will part, making it MUCH easier to actually put the new bulb in (That comment will make sence when you try!)

Again, make sure all is working before putting back together.....if it doesnt, flip the LED end-to-end, and then it shoudl work....As you know, LEDS will only work "one-way"...unlike a standard fillament bulb. Thumbs Up '57 FL2 GS
