Yes but its a pretty flimsy affair isnt it, wouldnt take much of a pull to open it even if it was locked, next time youve got a minute try and get into yours, you'll find it soon breaks off around the hinge/lock area with little effort. In fact everyone should break theirs off just so you know how easy it is. |

very common problem, in fact a lot of thieves ( sorry scroats ) cut the filler neck when they are plastic or punch a hole in the fuel tank so make sure when you fill it up its not squirting out somewhere. I used to replace endless amount of fuel tanks where they had been drilled or punched !

If you don't see proof of a real siphoning action (something forced or pierced), don't worry, it's a glitch of the CJB. Sometimes it shows half tank when in reality is full. |

Mine once in a while shows completely empty, stop remove fob and restart it's back to normal, cheaper than refilling but only works every so often, once every ten days I do have to refill. |

2011 MY should be OK as wrong fuel prevention device closes filler neck if narrow spout inserted. The reset tool is in(empty!!!!) spare wheel well.
