Just a thought: is your current dog happy with the height of the boot floor in the Disco? I have a young and agile border collie who's fine with it, but there's a few big dogs that might struggle with the jump in and out of the back of the Freelander. |

She's a lab - so not huge and heavy. Yep, just bounces up without a second thought.

No need to concern yourself if it shows signs of having a towbar, the transmission will be fine, just watch out if it has 18" pretend HSE wheels (Iffy's) though, we don't want any more members becoming a laughing stock |

Ignore him the clutch on a vanners car will be burnt out as they cannot reverse for toffee, many vanners on here comment on how the clutch smells if they try and reverse.

Other than 'the bay' and Auto T, are there any other good places to look for second hand FL2s?

This site has a few on offer by members at the moment, you will pay over the odds at a dealership but should anything go wrong then hopefully it will be put right, unlike the private sector. So save some money in the purchase privately and hope for trouble free motoring or over the odds with a warranty, its a gamble either way

Hi I just bought a 58 2008 GS with 30K on the clock, only extra a full LR tow bar - dont get as an after market fit as LR charge a fortune and you dont pay extra by having one already on a second hand F2. Cost me £14800 with no road tax - came with the remainder of the LR warranty until 1st Jan and then a full non LR dealer warranty for a year from 1st Jan 2012.
