Well I've been out playing with my new freelander while you lot have been playing with, sorry - playing by yourselves, on here! Razz

How did athelstan know all about the the BOATs that are still open through The Hundred Acre Wood? Blooming Hundred Acre Wood Park Authority want to slap closure orders on them too! it's never been the same since piglet moved into the big time with his dodgy vehicle cloning operations. You have no idea how much AA Milne had to leave out of the books to get them past the censors....

Tigger.

PS: Pictures to follow, but lots of driving to do first Very Happy

Tigger
CR came very close to sending out Edward Bear to look for you last night, but as it was already dark and he needed EB to watch over him whilst he fell asleep he convinced himself that you'd be fine with all his friends onboard your new Freelander.

By the way, whilst out yesterday in HAW did Piglet remind you of what Jaguars do?

-o0o-
"Look Pooh" said Piglet suddenly. "There's something in one of the Pine Trees."
"So there is!" said Pooh, looking up wonderingly. "There's an anmal."
Piglet took Pooh's arm, in case Pooh was frightened.
"Is it One of the Fiecer Animals?" he said, looking the other way.
Pooh nodded.
"It's a Jagular," he said.
"What do Jagulars do?" asked Piglet, hoping that they wouldn't.
"They hide in the branches of trees, and drop on you as you go underneath," said Pooh. "Christopher Robin told me."

"Then they chase their brothers, the LandieRovers, clear out of the Hundred Acre Wood for making all that noise," said Tigger hanging onto his steering wheel with the sight of a Jagular" in his rear view mirror!

Apologies to A.A.Milne & E.H.Shepard for the non authentic ending.

I've spent my day getting the Freelander ready for adventures. A mere 145 miles up to Bristol tonight and then, via Halewood for a few photos outside the Freelander factory visitor centre, then off to Cumbria for a week's adventures and Green Laning Thumbs Up Then I'll definitely have some proper pictures to show you! Very Happy

Should hit around 1,300 miles after the first week Very Happy

Wow, our holiday cottage has WiFi! I wasn't expecting that!!! Thumbs Up

It's 4 1/2 days old and just about to pass through 700 miles! We parked up outside the gatehouse at Halewood on the way past on Saturday, but security wouldn't let us take a photo Sad We'll call by at the Experience Centre over the road on the way back and take a picture there....

Did out first green lane on Sunday Very Happy There's a nature reserve at Haverigg and the green lane runs around it. The first section was a deeply potholed and rutted track which was great fun and then we found ourselves on the sea wall, only to find there was an MPV an LDV van and a huge motorhome already there! Shocked It seems that they can easily access it from the campsite from the other end! Rolling Eyes Laughing

Off to find something a bit more challenging today...

Yes, she has a name. But I don't think I can bring myself to say what name my wife and daughter have given her yet! Laughing I'll build up to that one....

Tigger.

And another thing - one of the first things that I did was to remove those aerodynamic twiddly bits that hang down from the front bumper! Then I found that the handbook even recommends it if you're planning on going off road...
