Have it happen to me too regularly but just using the off/on on the dash always resolves it for me. Think It's more like it senses something and doesn't wanna let it go until you cut power and restart.

Am now having this same fault. Been raining off and on, quite heavily, but even when it's been dry for a few hours I get the constant tone after putting it into reverse. Will try the clicking test and see if it tells me anything. I'm not getting the flashing indicator the manual says I should see if there's a fault detected. Use your eyes lol, the senors dont like the rain in any car! I never use mine anyway! When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car |

I've always given the rear of them a good soaking with WD40 behind the bumper and never had any problems at all on any of our cars ______________________

Aye? Can that be done from beneath the bumper without anything being removed etc? HSE, td4 - Stornoway Grey - full alpaca interior - 2011 front facelift - privacy glass. Just added side steps, replaced the yellow side lights & body coloured handle and wing mirror covers. Now for the spoiler! |

Only had rear sensors on the FL2 but managed to get to them ok without removing anything, not sure about the front ones as the FL2 did't have them. ______________________
