Slightly off topic but there doesn't appear to be anything on the forum about retro fitting heated seats. I bought a FL2 XS with black leather seats but no heating elements. I knew I wouldn't get through the winter so searched for a suitable kit. I settled on this from ebay

Agreed, it is a bit of a stretch to turn passengers seat on, which I've had to do a couple of times. Also I can't see whether it's been left on. However I like the fact that my console is free and that all the fittings are within the seat. Didn't have to take anything else apart. Two different options which gives others a choice of fitting. Well worth the effort. |

Heating elements are not there. LR never fitted heated seat mats to cars that weren't specified with heated seats. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come......... |

Unlikely heating mats be fitted as Mav says but reading this thread I can tell you that retrofitting the factory heated seats is easy!
