Has anyone had a three year ‘A’ service done recently in either the Lancashire or South Cumbria area? Can anyone give me a rough idea on price as I am told there is an additional charge for the brake fluid change at three years?

I’ve not rung any dealers yet as it’s not due until end of April, but just asking so I can budget for it.

I was hoping to get a reduction on the price of the first MOT as well………

I've no idea of the prices but I should think that main agents are pretty similar to each other. I can recommend Kentdale Land Rover in Kendal for their customer service. They treated us very well in a breakdown situation when caravanning last year. Ours - 2008 Stornoway Grey HSE Auto

Not your area but Hunters southampton quoted just under £300 BUT tried to add Brake fluid change £70 and engine flush ( cant remember figure )

Declined both , local friendly garage will fluid change for £30, and would never have an engine flush !!

To be honest, Kentdale (Kendal) have done the past two services as they have been the cheapest. No complaints with their service.
In the past I've been amazed at the differences in the servicing prices quoted by main dealers in the North West.
The reason I asked the question originally is because I heard the same story that Reeventu mentioned (Brake fluid change) which pushed the quoted price up by nearly £100.
I thought about servicing it myself but I'm considering an extended warranty and also the issue of resetting the service indicators on the MY 2013 models.
