Their should be a Tax on all trailers not just LGV's then we can get some of these delapidated farmers trailers off the roads |

Good one! Thanks for the answers! So in the end, isn't better for one passionated caravaner to get a motor caravan than a towed caravan? In this way it is simpler. The licence and the fees and all related stuff is more clearly defined.... Like for a small bus. |

For the record my main farm trailer is 4 years old with excellent hydraulic powered brakes, the second trailer is about 20 years old but has new brake shoes this years so gives excellent braking. Unlike caravans the trailer brakes operate with the brake pedal, not using a spring loaded drawbar ,
