Hi AndyC Give me a clue what vehicle is better suited to 30k+ miles a year - needs to be fuel efficient and comfortable. Capable of going down a quarry a couple of times a week. Tow a 1500kg caraven. Drive through Morrocco and the Sahara on holiday. Green laning half a dozen times a year. Tall enough for ease of entry/exit - bad knee. Needs to fit 4 adults and have some where secure for tools. Built in the UK. The Mrs. did make me look at smaller Jap stuff but when I mentioned hard use to the dealers they ran a mile. When a previous employer insisted on a BMW he got my notice within 15mins, so no BMW. |

I think the freelander at the moment is an excellent car, does what it says on the tin. But i do think land rover can improve the reliability and fit and finish of the new car and take the time to ask what its customers would like to see improved. I personally would like air suspension and low range as standard or as part of a factory fit off road package. |

Just read this about the Skoda Yeti. "The Vario-Flex seats can be folded or removed to completely open up further load carrying. They also slide fore and aft to adjust the amount of legroom and boot space on offer"

It's my firm belief and always has been that the options you get on a range rover should be available across the entire range from a Freelander up.

You'll probably get all that on the new Semi Skimmed RR when it comes out. I'm jealous of your FFRR in any case |
