United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Firenze Red

I spoke to a landrover guy yesterday and he said the hot start problem was probably not fuel related but could be the camshaft sensor. I've got a new bosch one today but would just like to know wether it's just a case of taking out the old one and popping the new one straight in or is there more to it.
Many thanks
