Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto Indus Silver
Symbol in main message centre

Recently I have noticed a mysterious D symbol appearing in the bottom of the message centre on the dashboard. Any ideas what this means? See attached photo.

You will also see in the following days a "N" and a "R"....
From "D"oomsday "N"ow...
And when you'll see "R" from "R"agnarök, run like hell.... Laughing

In Command Shift it shows a number indicating the gear currently engaged rather than D or S doesn't it?

Ahhhh.....last time I beat somebody of the traffic light Grand Prix I had it in D for Drag, beat him up to 40 mph then shifted into R for Race and the transmission blew up.......bloody temperamental these Freelanders Rolling with laughter Regards

Ahhhh that explains why the car would work in Day mode but would never move in Night mode....
