Turbo removal advice please

Quote:
What’s the best way to remove the turbo ? 2.2 diesel
Undew the 3 bolts holding it to the manifold
Or remove the manifold with the turbo still attached
Thanks in advance πŸ™

Well it was a right bitch the 3 bolts holding it on very bad access and FT
Got the all manifold nuts lose, but one bad access again
I put the 🀬🀬🀬🀬 back on with lots off oven cleaner in the exhaust side of the turbo
Hope this gets the variable vane working 100% again
Leaving the cleaner in till the morning
Hope to come back here with good news πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Not going to happen is it πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™
I live in hope lol 2008 xs

The JLR workshop manual has a section on lubricating the VV components from underneath the car but it is still very awkward to get access. Have you ever done that job? Jules
