'The locking wheel nuts used to be a big thing 20-30 years ago when lots of alloy wheels were getting stolen. That is rare now, since most cars have alloys'

I just discovered that my i6 was made on Valentine's Day, 2007.

Motion, I remember back in the day no one wanted to buy a car that was made on Friday or the last day of the month or during a strike if the workforce was significantly reduced but the manufacturer pushed to bring in "Replacement Workers" With that in mind I'm not sure if Valentines day is good or bad. It could go either way. At this point it probably doesn't matter. Take care Paul |

Yeah, I looked up that day of the month, year historical calendar. It was on a Wednesday AKA Hump Day! And, yes, approx 230K kms and 14 years later, it truly no longer matters! The LR2 is chugging right along . On the list for today, re & re the high brake light with an LR replacement purchased on Ebay from Lithuania for a very decent price shipped to my door. And BTW, the blower does still do a 'low whine" in -5+C weather. |

I needed to investigate why my rear screen washer was washing the inside of the glass, as well as the outside, as you do.

^^^Yep, mine is there, I replaced my high level brake light assembly with a LR newer model this Saturday gone. No minor leaks now when I take it to the high pressure DIY car wash to wash off the road salt. |

Continuing with my nerdy theme (see above), I have been extrapolating data from the howmanyleft web site to get a clearer understanding of how many i6 engined FL2s were sold in the UK. As the site states, the data is likely to be flawed somewhat due to incorrect nomenclature being entered onto V5s. However, I have hunted around for all variants on the site, so it is the best I can do for now.

HST was some rather unattractive bodywork additions.

Paul, what difference is there between that 15.05.2007 and your build date?
