England 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Orkney Grey

Friend of the family years ago had similar experience with odd smell in the boot of her new car - took it to the dealers who after some extensive searching found a now rotting packet of bacon that must have slipped out of her shopping and down into the boot space Rolling with laughter

United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Firenze Red

My dad worked on the spanners when young (later in life he ran Aston Martin workshops etc) and once told me that they used to get a flat back truck into the then workshop that carried fish. The flat back was built of timber boards and he used to take out a lump hammer and give all the boards a good beating, on the ground below a few fine lines would appear and a few seconds later they would start moving. That was one way to stop fish maggots and lice going down your shirt. Shocked FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Suggest you move more upmarket with your women. Laughing

Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 GS Auto Mauritius Blue

Many years ago, we had no door on the garage at work. One of the cars was an SD1 Rover, which started to smell a lot one winter.

We opened the bonnet and found what was left of a cat welded onto the exhaust manifold. We think it had crawled under the bonnet for warmth and got wedged in. Updated- Waiting for a Scotland v England 6 Nations home win. 24th Feb 2018
