My dad worked on the spanners when young (later in life he ran Aston Martin workshops etc) and once told me that they used to get a flat back truck into the then workshop that carried fish. The flat back was built of timber boards and he used to take out a lump hammer and give all the boards a good beating, on the ground below a few fine lines would appear and a few seconds later they would start moving. That was one way to stop fish maggots and lice going down your shirt. FL2 MY10 TD4 GS traded in at 2 years

Many years ago, we had no door on the garage at work. One of the cars was an SD1 Rover, which started to smell a lot one winter.
