With regard to 190 v 150, my first experience of FL2 was a one day hire with a 190 HSE. The whole nature of the car is steady secure progress so most of the time the extra oomph of the 190 is never used. I bought from choice a 150 GS and have never felt it underpowered; on the contrary it is a very good balance of power relative to the dynamic qualities of the vehicle. 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto |

I had all 3 a 08MY 160, then a 11MY 190, then 13MY 150. Couldn’t tell the difference. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

I can definitely tell the difference between my old 2010 pre facelift HSE Auto 160bhp and my 2013 HSE Auto 190bhp..... the 190 IMO is so much smoother and quieter than the 160bhp

When you gave the 190 SD4 some welly, then yes it was noticeable but around town they all seemed the same. 21MY Defender 90 S 3.0 D200 |

A sad day that the most popular Land Rover (at one point) and the most reliable made till date JLR’s own words only have 52 in stock. 3 years on from killing the FL2 I’m still a little flabbergasted! MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Bought mine for that very reason! Old and dated (my wife often describes me as such ) Needed a newer rugged practical tow car to replace my old dated rugged practical tow car (Disco Td5). Nothing in the current LR range appeals or is affordable so it was a simple choice really. Still looks very respectable anywhere but not ostentatious like some of McGovern's latest works. Having had 4 manuals I found that the 2011 model seemed to have a lot more torque and the throttle response was very different. However, my latest, the SD4 auto, is easily the nicest one to drive. 3 x FL1 2 manual + 1 auto
