2016 had to stick the knife in one last time. RIP Toby. Taken from us so suddenly. So poorly so we had to do the right thing by him as he was suffering. Reunited with his best friend Sam now. So sad

Sorry to hear your sad news, it's never easy but time heals it a little and you will have the memories forever. I have been in the same situation in the past and will be in the future and know exactly how you feel at the moment.

Thanks Ian. I'd heard that before and it is much appreciated. Non-dog lovers will never understand why we talk to our dogs when they can't talk back (using words at least) but I spoke to Toby at the very end yesterday.

Cheers Steve It is very hard in these early days and we now do not have any dogs which feels very odd. In time, we will have another dog but not just yet. LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby

Sorry to hear your news Doc. We lost our Labrador just before Christmas so I know how you are feeling. The 12 years of complete joy he brought to our household will never be forgotten.

Sorry to hear that. It's so hard but I do believe I will see him again one day, as per the rainbow bridge. Along with all the other dogs we have ever had LL.B (Hons) - University of Derby
