Yes agreed npinks in many ways, i can't say too much but the catalyst for our system was having such "Good Neighbours" and I add hastily not the ones either side.

Happened to me on a farm where we stayed most weekends 40 years ago in our cavers hostel. Sheep dog got it in its head it liked the pop of a 2CV wheel. Took 2 tyres on differing weekends before I saw it do it and told Mr Farmer. The good news is if the holes are small enough they can be repaired regardless of where they are on the tyre. You'll have to send them to a qualified 'major repairer' that can carry out the repairs to the relevant British Standard. Don't believe the Tosh that kwikfit etc will tell you that they cannot be repaired. What they actually mean is they cannot be repaired by them because they're not qualified enough. Meridian tyres in Bristol are my preference for major repairs. I feel your pain. I was the victim of the tyre slashers once, 10 tyres in total done on my defender and disco 2... |
