How many key fobs

I recently bought a fl2 2012 from a dealer and the second key was missing ( as well as this they also gave me user manuals for the wrong model, still having a battle....) they told me to go to a LR dealer and they will pay for a spare. Just trolling through on line manuals and wondering what would I have got when new as I have come across a remote to heat up and defrost. Would I have got one of those as well, when new?

A new key fob will have to be programmed to your hence they say take it to LR ,unsure what you mean by remote heat defrost?

It's for the heating system which UK models don't have.

Is it not remote start?, I've had it that on hire cars in Minnesota to heat up and in Arizona to cool down cars before you can get in them.

I think some export FL2's had a fuel burning heater. The remote start is probably for that. Past: FL2 TD4 HSE Auto
