So, there is a mass amount of information on this thread that i'm trying to get my head around.
(as some of you know, i dont have a freelander - evoque owner instead).

I managed to buy an IID Tool, but really struggling with enabling options.
I was wondering if someone can help please/
I'm looking to enable Auto High Beam assist - i have the hardware installed, but when i turn on AHBA in IID - it turns off other options - that being forward assist and lane departure warning.
I dont know if i'm missing something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's most likely the IDD tool is not able to access the correct files to enable this feature on your model.
IDD tool only has limited access to change certain features depending on model and model year.
Have you checked that the IDD Tool is able to edit AHBA on your MY? MY15

IID has two lists - confirmed and unconfirmed.
Within unconfirmed - there are three settings for AHBA
* AHBA - deactived/activated
* AHBA - fitted/not fitted
* ABHA - regions (set to rest of world).

I tried the variations of activate/fitted, but it didn't take.
Looking on the IID website - it only lists the "confirmed" list of configs in the BCM.

These are the settings from a disco3.
• Auto high beam 1 - Fitted
• Auto high beam 2 - Disabled
• Auto high beam 3 - Rest of world

The only reason i bought the IID was to enabled ABHA - i live in the middle of no where and they are really helpful at night.

Firstly, the settings from the Disco 3 forum, say for L319 may not be correct for L538. You need find out the correct settings/flags for the correct MY for L538.
Secondly unless IDD Tool claim that it can activate the comlination of fields to enable AHBA then it won't work, sorry.
Thirdly, depending on your MY (which is? You given very little information for me to be any assistance) it also may be impossible to activate and could cause problems/DTC's. MY15

Sorry! Thought I added the car details.
It’s a MY16.5 Evoque Dynamic.

It was a factory option (which I forgot to add onto the build spec).
I have the forward facing camera (in the mirror unit) as well as the 360deg camera setup.
LR said that it can be enabled - but they can’t do it because they are not allowed to alter the original build spec.

It’s just finding the right software to do it.
Guess IID tool is out the window then.

I'm afraid you have answered your own question and Yes the dealer is correct with having very few changes they can make in regards to activating features.
We do have a colleague in the UK who can do the work for you, if you wish I can get the details sent to you. MY15

In short “No” been tied up with InControl Apps.
It will show whatever the CCF settings are but in the case of the Freelander 2 it’s pointless to have the lockable rear diff participating or adjustable suspension ride height as neither are fitted.
Haldex is indicated being free/unlocked and 3 stages of lock.

I fitted hell fire missiles to my hippo. Would be handy if there was a screen to monitor their progress when fired. Haven't found a tracking option on the sat nav display.  Hippo's videos - Honorary Tratterer
