Thanks - what I meant was (and should have said) this is from inside, coming to a stop after driving. So car stops, engine off, passenger door won't open. |

Mine just won't unlock - with or without the 2 stage unlock checked on the menu. It's just like there's a child proof lock on somewhere that needs to be over-ridden. Very odd.

If it's coming to a stop after driving, it's because the doors have auto locked once you started moving. Press the unlock button on the dash before she tries getting in. I still forget after over a year, it still annoys her! |

My uncle from Australia said that if his wife wasn't in the car when he drove off, she got left behind! Apparently that's the way they look at life over there? |

Dont know if it works on the FL2 but on the MINI if you pull on the interior handle twice it unlocks if you dont stop the engine, maybe i should give it a go, i dont carry passengers all that often, maybe thats another solution |

That's not the issue. And the solution isn't in the manual either.

I had the same problem on my front passenger door it was caused by a faulty locking unit. The motors were ok but the lever on the latch would not activate the door latch from inside when pulled could of been caused by a faulty micro switch.
