These cubby box armrests are great and really improve the look and feel of the interior.
Don't know why LR didn't build one in as standard (as they do on the Disco)?
Only thing I don't get is that you can slide the armrest forward, don't know why you need that function as it makes the handbrake harder to get to. Confused
Didn't see see the need for that so dismantled the lid and fixed it securely (by just tightening up the four screws).

This unit does also fit the seats that already have the armrests incorporated.
Gives you double the luxury and a choice if where to lay your forearm. Wink

But Ed, you can't do that and chill when you've got your full arm hanging out the drivers window at the same time. Rolling Eyes

I never open my car windows as I'm trying to avoid having pink door cards in the near future Rolling with laughter

I did look briefly at getting one for mine but it would block the small storage area and I dont want to faff around always tipping it back. Its a great idea however and as mentioned I'm surprised that JLR did not offer this as an accessory and milk us for more money Mr. Green MY14 Kahn Converted Dynamic - Fuji White Ebony/Pimento Interior

Hello.
Just like the seats go back and forward, so does the armrest.
I drive with the seat in a far position, bu my wife drives near the wheel, so pushes the seat forward, and the armrest can get forward too!
