My dashboard charging dock has been faulty for some time now and needs replacing, has anybody else had to replace theirs? Black FL2

What are your symptoms? With mine, I often have to put the fob in and out 2 or 3 times before it 'latches' and I can start the engine. Also, it never ejects properly, I always have to yank it out by the house keys hanging on the ring. But I've learned to live with it!

If you have trouble ejecting it might be the fob casing not the dock. Try the spare key fob. As the frequently used key fob ages/wears the (door, alarm) buttons stick up and catch when ejecting. Switch to the spare key which should be in better condition (flat like new) and replace the old fob. Also don't keep a heavy key chain dangling off the key fob.

If like my one you should change which fob you use, as that will keep them both charged. FL2 11 S Black 😂

Had exactly the same thing with my last car. One fob was like new and never ever stuck but the other was very well used and frequently didn't eject.
