Possible, but for the time it takes to whip the bumper off more than makes up for the cramp in your hands, grazed knuckles and time involved. It's the two panels in Fig 13 that isn't easy, the four bolts at the top need to be removed to get the panels off as the cross member fits behing these two panels.

I agree with Andy above. Also, AFAIK, the LR fixed flange bar will need a bumper cutout. It would be far easier (and accurate) to do this with the bumper removed. Consider a Witter fixed flange, no cutout required and just as good but cheaper! 10MY (Sept 09) TD4 HSE Auto in Stornoway Grey (Now Gone)

That is true, the LR bar does maintain a better departure angle. It does not affect me as I do not have an all-terrain caravan! |
