2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black

Clutch change now sstrange engine noise.

Hi
I have just had a new clutch, Slave cylinder and dual mass flywheel ffitted.

Now when I accelerate I can hear a noise like a hose is leaking air.

The mechanic said he had to remove the exhaust, could it be this now leaking?

I can't hear the turbo sspinning so much now.

Is there any hoses which may have been removed while the clutch was being removed?

I will then try and have a look at these.

Can anyone advise.

Doesn't sound like normal noise so is wasn't there before, take it back.

2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Santorini Black

Got my clutch changed and had similar noise, turned out that steering grommet had been disturbed and letting engine noise into cabin.

Where do i find the steering grommet?
Anyone have any pics of it?

The link shows the early models with the grommet fitted, the later ones also shown shows a modified grommet.
