The "old" engined models will hopefully depreciate massively, which means when I am looking for a DS for the wife, we will get her a bargain.

I too, had a train of thought that the current engine in the DS may be worth a look in 12 months time, I put a lot of miles on the car and expect it to be worth little when I am finished, it's also slightly different in having my own business, rather than a 'private' purchase, as such.

Off the top of my head on my PCP my HSE loses a tad over £5k a year on a 4yr contract. Purchase price just over £39k.

Yes you pay deposit, fixed monthly payment plus the GMFV (guaranteed minimum future value) or take a new one or hand the car back.

Are residual values out yet for leasing in the UK for the DS? For tax purposes leasing is an affordable route over here, but our dealer won't have an idea of residual numbers until April, our lease rate wil be different but the residual shouldn't be too different. An expat that never went home. |

Interested in the smaller vehicle due out in 2016? FL2 is bigger than I need really. |

Interesting numbers and this level of depreciation reminds me why I have never bought a new car with my own money. This example represents 66p a mile before any other costs are incurred. |

I have kept my cars until they die, or almost dead. Will keep this one till it dies, or I die!
