I'm only a few weeks ahead of you joining the forum and already benefited loads from advice and tips on here, and I am no mechanic...

Welcome riverblanche, yes you'll have a bit more time on your hands over here in comparison to the D3/D4 forum.

Hi, finally got around to joining this site. Bought my Freelander 2 a few years ago because I enjoyed driving my wife's one so much. 2 in the household makes life much easier! It's taken me a long time to get around to joining, but have at least been reading posts for years. Glad to finally give myself a kick up the bum and join. |

Hello, well after a year or so of searching for a reliable forum to discuss and resolve problems regarding my LR2, I’ve finally found this one! I bought my 2009 LR2 a year ago after wrecking my 2015 Jeep Patriot. It’s been a great driving vehicle. I’ve replaced the left rear wheel bearing and will be replacing the vacuum pump next weekend to resolve a leak that I’ve been trying to track down for about 9 months. Aside from some cracking around the airbag on the dash, it looks new. I’d like to address that issue at some point, so I’m open to any advice. |

Hi, new member, had LR for thirty years and built many “projects “ but this is my first Freelander , I’ve Bought it at auction and paid a bit over the odds as it wasn’t issue free.... predictably 😀

Pity you couldn't get a proper colour..... white! You have got the most reliable LR product, & they are almost going up in value. Not that I bought mine for that reason! I'm keeping mine till I need a wheelchair! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
